We are proud to offer a highly decorative and authentic working example of a carved wooden early 20th Century Canadian Mallard Hen Decoy, by decoy carver Jesse Baker (b.1888) Trenton, Ontario.
Exceptionally made solid body from sectioned wood with original, scratch feather paint and glass eyes.
A label is attached to the underside, bearing maker.
A historically accurate, beautiful piece of folk art.

The paint has faded as you would expect from an item of this nature, the beak section shows signs of age.
