Early Twentieth Century Brass Reading Lamp

Base D: 21cm, 8.3 inch approximately.
A substantial solid brass table lamp of tri footed form, with hexagonal baluster stem and original adjustable gimbal to bulb holder allowing a change of light distribution. A contemporary to the Pullman / WAS Benson lamps. Originally made for use on trains and ships and could be fixed to wall or table.
It has not been polished and has been left to slowly age.
Good condition, with perfect wear and patina consistent with age and use .
Newly rewired in traditional flex and have been Pat tested.
